Serious pelvic floor pain 1 week pp

I had an incredibly fast labor (6-10 cm) in 10 min). I think this may be why I am still in so much pain but I was wondering if anybody else has had this happen to them. I am taking one midol and arnica every 4 hours. Thanks ladies.

I, too, had a fast labor. At 1week pp I had quite a bit of pelvic pain still. I'm at 2.5 weeks now, and doing much better. I still get twinges if I move the wrong way, but it is much better now. I saw my chiropractor for it, and I think the adjustment helped, but mostly I think it just takes time. I was able to stop the ibuprofen around 1.5 weeks pp. Good luck and swift healing!

Yep, also had a fast labor and definitely had more pelvic pain this time around. Kegels have helped with the pelvic floor pain, but I still have a kinda bruised feeling on the pelvic bones. In general, this has been a much longer, slower recovery than the previous two.

I didn't initially have any but I about 1 week pp I took the boys out for a walk in the stroller and wore the baby. I was in so much pain the next day I had a hard time walking. I took it really really easy the next few days and it got better. Hope it goes away fast for you!

Thanks mamas! I have been making a real effort to stay off my feet and iced myself more yesterday and today I feel much better. Thank you for letting me know that this is normal. I was starting to feel real crappy, not being able to do anything. Good day today!

I've been having this too. I thought the pelvic pain would go away when the baby came, but it hasn't. Yesterday I did a lot more standing/walking and today it's worse. I stopped taking arnica a couple days ago, maybe I should start again. Ice sounds good too. My labor was definitely not as fast as yours, but faster than my others (5cm to holding baby in 2 hours).
