This was my 4th birth and it was incredibly fast. When i got to 4 cm and my water broke I had her within 2 hours. Crazy intense. Up until she came out she was posterior. I am 1 week pp and my pelvic floor still feels incredibly bruised. I have a hard time walking and there are some sharp pains while sitting. I was wondering if anybody else who has had a fast labor has gone through this same healing process. I am hoping that it ends soon. I have 3 other little ones who are going to need their mom again!!! Thanks ladies.

Yes, with ds. From the first contraction that required my attention to his birth was about 30 minutes. There was stuff before that, but it wasn't any more than bh. He was not posterior, but was born facing my left leg, so not ideal.
Bruised is a good word for how it felt, though I remember saying it felt "tired" or "weak" in there. It would just start to hurt so bad I'd have to sit or lie down to get the pressure off.
I'd like to say it got better quickly, but it didn't. It was tolerable by the time he was 2 months old? or so, but even now it seems I can irritate it.
After this baby (I've had 2 since him), I plan to do a lot of core strengthening exercises to try to use some of my other muscles to support my innards. I'm hoping that helps.
