Anyone else have an easy time with #1 and difficulty TTC #2 or more? - Page 2

Yep!
DS1 happened the first month we decided not to try and prevent pregnancy. Admittedly, I didn't even know a whole lot about ovulation and cycles, but still, we got pregnant.

DS2 was a whole different ball game. About three years. Several miscarriages. Charting and timing and positions and all sorts of stuff. FINALLY got pregnant with one that stuck, and that's DS2!

Geez....

I see a trend here! Easy first babies and then a whole lotta probelms! What's up with that?

Sometimes I think i shluld give up "trying" and that's when it will happen. I mean I hear that ALL the time!

i'm a firm believer (just from stories i've heard) that the best way to get pregnant is to not try. incredibly difficult to not try, though, when you really really want a baby! also hard for those of us who have to plan procedures and such.

yet again, murphy's law rules. **shakes fist**

Our son was a happy accident, the result of a broken thermometer and not seeing each other for a long time.

After that, we were so convinced that I was a fertile goddess who fell pregnant in the mere presence of sperm, that I started bc pills at 6 weeks postpartum. I stopped them in April so we could TTC #2.

After six months, I am still not pregnant. Every day I for wasting all those months trying not to get pregnant. And every day I for a bit of the luck that got me knocked up last time around.
