Celery seed oil - internal?

I've read the advice her and around to take some celery seed oil in labor for pain/stress relief, as it's a muscle relaxant? Is this something like grapefruit seed extract, or is this the essential oil? I bought the essential oil, and thought "that can't be right..."

I really don't know about this use, my grandfather use to take it to reduce uric acid.
