Hi,
I am OpenMama and I am currently waiting for my first baby, due 8-27-2010. I am having a UP/UC and very excited to meet my baby. Of course, as my EDD came and went I tried to be very patient because I know all babies cook in their own time and that all is well within me.
We obviously do not know if our Earthbound babe is a boy or a girl - I can't wait to meet him or her when he/she is ready! I do not have a lot of support from my family for my prenatal and birth plan because they are all hospital-goers and are dependent on allopathic modalities. I can't believe I didn't find this site until right now - I could really have used the support during the last 10 lunar months! I don't know exactly what to expect, as this is my first babe and I was myself born via a bypass, but I know that my body is strong and healthy and that my child is safe and that all things will happen as they are supposed to!
