We cosleep and my 3 yo kicked (more like stomped downward really) the top of my belly this morning while we were in bed and she was asleep. I'm going to call the OB when the office opens this morning and see if I can get my weekly apt moved to today just to make sure everything is alright... I think it is, but it still makes me nervous. Anybody else ever been kicked in the belly late in pregnancy?

My DS has done the same thing! I'm 38 weeks now. Though, I guess it hasn't been quite as hard as you are describing. However, they always say that it really takes a lot to do damage, like a car crash or something, as opposed to an uncomfortable kick. I wouldn't worry too much, but by all means call your midwife if you are concerned!

DS has kicked, elbowed, poked, prodded and hit my belly throughout this pregnancy. I'm 41 weeks along and all is well.
If you feel okay and everything seems normal then I wouldn't fret too much. They are SO cushioned in there, it's unbelievable. If it would make you feel better though then definitely call and move up the appointment. No need going extra days stressing over it.
