My daughter is almost 3 and she is a very social person. We'll be living in Bar Harbor starting end of Sept. and really need to meet people. If anyone is getting together for playgroups or open to new friends, we'd love to meet up.

Nevermind. Was trying to meet people but had no luck. If you weren't born here, they shut you out.

What makes you say that? I was born and raised here but have many friends who have come from out of state (some from out of the country!) and have never ever had someone "shut out" based on where they were born.
