I had another knee and foot crawler. DS never cross crawled, he did the knee and foot until he started walking. He was a late walker too, 17 months. We took him to a chiro who said he had a pretty severe twist in his lower spine/hips (sacrum maybe?) anyway, a couple adjustments later and he was walking! And started cross crawling. I wonder in retrospect which came first, the twist, from his precipitous birth, or who knows what? or the knee-foot crawling, that caused a twist after nearly 10 months of crawling that way. Regardless, he's a very physical and active 3.5 yo now, no problems with his motor development!
