6 months old and she just stopped sucking her thumb!

Anyone else's baby done this? She had a pacifier from 6 weeks to 9 weeks and then discovered her thumb. It was awesome and she could soothe herself to sleep. She's 6 months old and now she hasn't sucked her thumb in 3 days!!! She wants to suck on my boob instead!!!!!!!!!!!! She doesn't seem to remember she even has a thumb..... Annoying!

My guess is that she is going through a growth spurt, and once it passes, she will go back to being satisfied with her thumb.

Mine did that same thing. She never went back to her thumb. It was like you say, one day to her it just didn't exist. I loved her being able to soothe herself with her thumb, she never took a paci.

Oh no....sick feeling of baby not being able to self soothe any more........
