Free/cheap Fairy or Pixie Costume Pattern

I'm new at sewing with a machine. I want to try to make a fairy or pixie Halloween costume. Does anyone have some good links or ideas for EASY patterns for a cute 2 year old costume? I was hoping she would want to wear her older DS butterfly costume but she refuses.

Also, does anyone have good ideas for making treat bags?

Okay so I have an idea based on a fairy costume I had as a child. Very light on the sewing.

I wore:

Shiny blue tights
a blue long sleeved leotard
a flower wreath on my head
glitter on my cheeks
wings were a sparkly fabric bunched in the center and pinned to my back and then the corners draped from ties on my wrists.
I had a skirt made out of triangles of sparkly fabric sewn point side down onto a piece of elastic.
Oh and I have a sparkly wand that we also made somehow.

I don't know if that is what you were looking for but I loved it.

How about a no sew tutu

DD wears hers with some wings as a fairy costume
