What are some of your favorite most uplifting verses from the Bible?

What about Christian Songs? I really love the old Hillsong stuff.

Don't have time to list verses.

But the absolute, all-time most comforting song I've ever heard is "Your Hands" by JJ Heller.

For spirit lifting...I have always enjoyed music put out by Messianic groups. They are almost always straight up Scripture, and energetic and beautiful.

Music - Caedmon's Call, specifically the two In the Company of Angels albums. Also Newsboys and Jars of Clay have a lot of good stuff.

Verses really depends on where I am at at the moment,

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

I agree, my favorite verses depend on where I am/what's going on at the moment. Right now, I'm thinking about Psalm 9, "I will give thanks to you O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell all of your marvelous works."

I sing in my church choir, and I always enjoy when we do pieces from the "Lift Every Voice and Sing" hymnal.
