FYI: progesterone & calcium/vit D levels

I just had a bunch of bloodwork done by my new family doctor and my vitamin D levels are very low. We were discussing and he stated that long term progesterone use can cause lowering of your calcium and vitamin D levels. In all of my research, I never came across this.

When my levels were checked at a physical in 2004 (before starting this whole pregnancy/infertility crap) my levels were fine.

Just thought I'd pass it on. I was on and off the stuff for 4 years and I guess it added up.

Christy Marie- Were you using prescribed progesterone or natural progesterone cream supplementation?
