Should I find out the sex of this baby - Page 2

No! Don't do it! It's the best surprise ever!!! We loved being surprised both times and look forward to the next surprise.

We're on our fourth surprise now. Yeah, I want to know, but I also can't *wait* for that moment when *I* get to look and see what we have after meeting our baby for the first time.

I also love driving people nuts who insist that we should know NOW. And then there are the people who think it's really awesome to do it "the old-fashioned way" and really respect our decision to wait.

I vote to wait. I found out with my first two and I'm waiting this time and I do think it is special to wait. It kind of cool to not know and still have that wonder and suspense at the end of the pregnancy.

I think the personality of our new kiddos is surprise enough, much larger than gender. Finding out the gender during pregnancy is fun & helps our family prepare for typical girl or boy things. But I know that finding out who my child is as a person will be even more exciting!

Indeed... my children are born with long thick hair that I do not like to get cut right away... so if Its a boy I have to dress him in blatantly screaming IM A BOY clothes or everyone will tell me how pretty my daughter is (and I hate that... having hair does not make him a girl!)

And even then... some people... *sigh*

Our first we never found out but suspected early on it was a boy and yep were right. This time we hope to be able to find out so long as I can get a sonogram scheduled in.

I LOVE the surprise. The only reason I could see finding out was if we were broke, had no cloths of that gender and yard sales wouldn't be around then (which with this bean its Feb, but I already have a small(med) stash of girly clothes I got from a yard sale when pregnant with DS)

It was seriously such a great moment. Dr. "Dad's making the call" and then a moment later Dh, "It's a BOY"

Such a great moment for Dh! (and me but you know )
