They're coming up with their own slang...

We have always used regular old words for all that anatomical stuff... and now at 4 and 6 my two boys have come up with their own words for "penis" and "testicles." I haven't discouraged it, but I keep using the correct words. Anyone see any problem with this? Anyone else experienced this? I just think it's funny... but I'm curious.

Nope.

But now you're making me curious about what your kids came up with!

Interesting.... the penis is the pumpum (often mistaken for pom pom by the uninitiated) and testicles are chuckles. Neither of those words are ones we use around here with any frequency... as in, I think they completely made up the words, they just happen to be actual words also. And I think it was mainly the 6yr old, with little brother just going along with it.
