I weaned my son in December 2010. I nursed him for 22 months. Since he was born I have only had two periods. Almost nine months after weaning, my prolactin levels are still VERY elevated-confirmed by blood tests. I swear I could start nursing again in an instant and have plenty of milk. Often the cause is a benign tumor on the pituitary gland. I am awaiting test results. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!
