Need Info on Assisted Hatching/Also Home Pregnancy Tests

Sorry to contribute another post, but I have a couple more questions. I have found this discussion forum so helpful!

First, any information on assisted hatching would be greatly appreciated. I would love to hear whether you have had success with AH.

Second, I am having a 3 day transfer tomorrow and will be transfering two embryos. How soon after the transfer is it safe to do a home pregnancy test?

Did you take an HCG trigger shot? If that's the case, then I believe you need to wait approx. 10 days after the shot so that you don't get a false positive. Good luck!!

Thanks DaisieMae8! I did take an HCG trigger shot. I took it last Sunday 9/5. I will wait a few days past the 10 day mark. I'm kind of scared to take a test before my doctor does the official blood test, but it's hard to wait! Lol! I am going in to have my embryo transfer today in an hour!

If you would like, dollar tree sells pregnancy tests for a dollar... you can actually use those to watch the hcg from the trigger leave your system... so you know when a line is an actual line and not just from the shot!

Some women have all the hcg out of their system by 8 days later... and by 10 days could possibly be getting a pregnancy positive!
