I think the girls will get some Gotz dolls this Christmas -- 18 inch dolls very similar to the "American Girl" dolls (just cheaper and machine washable) --
Can you recommend a good book (or books) of patterns, or patterns that you have liked? I don't want to spend HOURS and HOURS making doll clothes -- but would like some nice sturdy attractive clothes for the dolls, since one of the reasons we'd be getting them would be that the girls are interested in dressing/undressing dolls (and combing their hair
).....
I have been sewing for nearly 30 years, 4-H seamstress, so have plenty of knowledge - just looking for some nice patterns that would be attractive and fun for the dolls?
