Help me remember...

DS had a green mucousy poop this morning and I cannot remember what that could be a sign of.

DS has been battling a cold from almost two weeks and started on antibiotics for a sinus infection on Wednesday. Because of the stuffiness and his wacky sleep patterns due to being sick, he's been eating more often but for not as long (normally he eats 15-20 minutes per side...now he's more in the 10-15 minute range).

Otherwise he seems pretty normal. He finally stopped coughing until he throws up so I think the sinus drainage is getting better. I have not eaten anything new in several weeks so I don't think it is a new food allergy. DS still has a diet of only breastmilk.

Should I be overly worried? Could this be a combo of the virus finally receding and the introduction to antibiotics?

ETA: He has no teeth yet but has been drooly and chewing on everything for 3+ months. He's definitely got some bumps on his gums but nothing has poked through yet.

Just one? I wouldn't worry about it. Sounds like he's still recovering, and the antibiotics will definitely impact his gut. If it continues once he's back to his old self, then I'd be concerned. If he's nursing frequently but not as long, he could be sucking down mostly foremilk, so you could try keeping him on one breast so he can get to the hindmilk; but my guess is that he'll have this worked out by the end of the weekend on his own even if you don't do anything.

I hope he feels better soon!

In this case, it really sounds like just a side effect of the illness and/or the antibiotics. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
