baby jacket?

Does anyone know of a good baby jacket for the winter? We'll be taking DD1 to preschool every day this year and I expect DD2 will outgrow her bucket seat by Christmas if not sooner so we'll need a jacket for her. We've got a fleece snowsuit, but that is overkill for most days and we've got lightweight sweatshirt jackets, but we'll need something more than that, something in between sweatshirt and snowsuit - any ideas?

Ds was an April baby as well, we live in Colorado. I got by all last winter (when he was your baby's age) with a good fleece jacket for the many outings with my older kids. If it was really cold then I would put him in his fleece suit, or throw a blanket over him with the jacket on and dash inside.

I also like a good fleece jacket. These are really nice (I found one secondhand for dd2 for this winter). I've also had nice baby ones from both gap and carters, or have sometimes gotten a larger-sized fleece pullover (like the old navy ones) for the babe.

And for some reason none of these places that have anything that looks like what I've gotten before. . . here's a polar babies jacket. I've usually gotten something like that with or without a hood (and do hats/mittens).

I found a good heavy sweatshirt jacket at Target. It's a really good weight, much heavier than most of the t-shirt-weight "hoodies" I usually see for babies.

DS had a Carters bear jacket last year that was very similar. It was the cutest thing ever! I loved it so much that it is going into my bin of baby clothes I just can't part with.

I'm heading to a kid's consignment sale tomorrow morning and will be on the lookout for a jacket for DS for this Fall and Winter. He's currently wearing an Adidas track jacket for the cool mornings. Would like something a little warmer.
