Sick the first pregnancy, sick the second? - Page 2

not sick with #1, pretty ill with # 2, and #3 has been the worst so far. Just nauseated all day for me. I don't know that I could do it again myself, so I get the worrying about it!

With these twins I was sick with horrible adversions and nuasea from 4 weeks to about 10 weeks being on zofran and phenergan helped a lot. Never threw up but was able to stay in bed and not move for 7 weeks solid. I feel great now. I am 16 weeks now.

Every one is different. No matter what you do/try you will not know how sick you will be. You just have to take the risk and prepare. Get childcare lined up ahead of time. Child proof a room where you can lie down and die while you know your little one is safe. Get foods in the freezer. Line up housework help from friends or family or your church if you have one. Preparation is the key. And dont be afraid of meds if you need them.
Preparation. Good point.

Well, 50% is not 100%. But -- oh, yay.

I suppose it's just temporary, although it doesn't seem like it at the time.
