What brand OPK?

What brand OPK do you ladies use, or recommend? Also, are there any brands to steer clear of?

I've been using Answer OPKs for months... generally, I've been happy with them, but they give so many "almost positives" that make me go cross-eyed, so I'm never sure if my timing is right. Also, I've read a lot of negative reviews about them. So I was thinking of switching brands. I tried a dollar store test today, but the instructions were kind of vague to me as far as interpreting it - it said ANY line was a positive, not too sure about that.

Anyway, just wanted to hear from the experts before trying new brands. Thanks!

I use the Clear Blue Easy digital tests and love them because they are either positive or negative, no interpretation needed. They are definitely a lot more expensive than others but worth the extra cost if you have concerns with whether the test is truly positive or not. They also use fmu, which is better for me because that's the one time I can remember to do it! HTH!

I swore by CVS Pharmacy's OPK's for a while, but this past cycle I decided I didn't like them as much. What I initially liked so much about them is that the line was so dark it was easy to read. However... The fact that the lines are so dark, it seems like it is more confusing to me when it is "almost" positive.

I'm going back to the ic's. I agree about the dollar store ones. I had to use a couple last cycle, and the directions show a picture of a test with the second line much lighter than the first and they say that it is positive in the directions. Very confusing.

I also used to use the CVS opks but I switched to ic's this cycle to save money (I test compulsively AND have longish cycles). I ordered these by Devon Medical at amazon. I was a little annoyed though - opks are notorious for being half positive/negative and hard to read but on one of these the Control line was also all splotchy! What the heck! But I did end up getting a blaring positive today. So mixed reviews on this brand so far....

I bought a big pack from saveontests.com and they seem to work just fine for me.

I used CBE for my last cycle and bought more to use for this one. I was using the ones from early-pregnancy-tests and I used them 2 cycles without the 2 lines ever getting equally dark. The CBE are the easiest and they are a little more pricey but worth it.

Thanks for the replies ladies! I think I might try the CBE at least for a cycle or two (though hoping I won't have to, depending on how this cycle pans out). It'll be nice to not have to interpret those stinking lines!
