Anyone else still full with baby?

I'm 41 weeks 1 day. DH and I had sex earlier and I had some pink on the toilet paper afterward so I was thinking maaayybe that did the trick but so far nothing out of the ordinary.

I'm remaining patient...but having moments of craziness when I consider doing stairs and lunges.

Am I all alone?

Im still here. 42 weeks. Have tried everything under the sun to start labor. Have a csection scheduled for the morning. Not dealing with it well.

Good luck, and hang in there. My c-sec was a really positive experience and the recovery has been really easy. Not what I had wanted obviously, but all good in the end. I hope yours goes well and your babe is in your arms soon.

why not induce?

Why a c section? I was late (due Aug 21, had him Sept 1) and we made a deal (midwife and I) to do speedy ultrasound but skip the non stress ultra sound... so tech was nice and the US was like 5 min.. midwife came in and said baby great but amniotic fluid low...wanted to induce (yea I was losing it over that, tears and fear) but we went for cervadil... it can be removed (its on a string) if its too strong, and you can do a second dose if the first 12 hrs didn't get you going... it helps make you dialate and go into natural labor (or you can then augment with pictocin) labor went great for me and my son came next morning!

No baby yet! Thank you for thinking of me.

I will be 42 weeks tomorrow and measured around 40 1/2 yesterday morning at our prenatal. I also had my midwife do a gentle membrane sweep. I've been having some nice, stronger contractions since six this morning but nothing regular.

I'm trying to be patient. I just wish I could do something to kind of push things along a bit. Walking around doesn't seem to increase them but neither does relaxing. So I'm just kind of...hanging out.

I must admit, I AM having fun telling people that I'm "at a 4 as of yesterday..." and watching their jaw drop and their eyeballs practically fall out of their head.

Send me lots of labor vibes ladies.

I'm praying so hard for you! I went to 41.4 with this guy, and measured 43 weeks for a couple of weeks...

I LOVE that you are a 4! No, it doesn't mean labor will start anytime, BUT it does mean that you have done the latent phase already! That's the longest part! I was a 4 for a bit over a week, and when my water broke it opened me to a 5, and within a few hours (only a little over an hour of harder contractions) and less than 15 minutes pushing I had my baby!

As hard as it was to wait, I wouldn't change it for a minute, because I know my body got ready and I had a faster labor with this big boy..it was better than having to actively contract for a long time to GET to a 4!

Anyway, I love ya, and I know how hard the wait is...know you are loved, and trust your body! Perfect timing!
