Increased BH ctx after internal u/s?

I had an ultrasound today to check the placenta, scar tissue from a previous c/s incision, and cervix. They had to do a quick internal ultrasound to get a better look at my cervix. At the time of the u/s the baby was head down but now it feels like she is side-laying again, as she was at my midwife appt earlier this week. I've been feeling way more BH ctx than usual. It's not the actual contracting that hurts but I feel a weird stretching/pulling sensation right around my belly button area that I suspect is caused by the way the baby is laying, because I felt the same thing last time she was in this position but not when she was head-down. Does anyone have experience with increased Braxton-Hicks contractions after an internal ultrasound?

This one might be hard to answer because usually they do internals in the first trimester, before BH ctx kick in.

I emailed my midwife already but since you ladies have so many answers, I thought you might know this one, too. I am about 26 weeks.

I've heard a lot of things can set off BH, it just depends on how sensitive the person is. For a while I was getting them every time the baby was active (I was 26-27ish weeks). I've heard of other women who get them whenever their bladder is full or during a hot shower so it seems likely that an internal ultrasound could trigger them too...
