school me only in reading a few threads here did I learn of "SA" which I found out is sodium ascorbate(?) but is it a part of vit. C? i'm guessing what we're taking (cheap, from Costco IIRC) is ascorbic acid... not good?

Someone very respected, Panserbjorne, maybe? recommended "whole foods vitamin C." what is that?

trying to wade through the world of supplements... thanks!

Here is an article recommended from Panserbjorne that can help you wade.

I would think whole food is always better than a synthetic...

Trying to figure it all out myself.

thanks, ladies, someone posted a link to the "big huge SA thread" and that's been helpful. but, alas, more to wade through will look into camu camu. is that a berry? def sounds "whole food" to me and appealing in that regard. maybe frontier sells it and i can get it via our coop. that'd be nice...

I remember acerola cherry powder as a source but I don't recall much about it. Might want to look into it as an option
