You can't tell gender from a profile shot at 18/19 weeks. At 12/13 weeks a side profile shot (if a nub is seen) can be pretty accurate (techs say up to about 85%) on telling gender, but I must say it was wrong for me. And I've seen it be wrong many times for others.
At 18/19 weeks you need a toilet shot (what some others refer to as a "crotch shot"). I don't see any gender clues at all, either way, in your pic. Also, the absence of a penis or boy parts does not necessarily mean it's a girl, you need to see the famous "3 lines". That said, sometimes boy parts can hide and the scrotum when squished can show lines too! And sometimes (earlier on usually, like 16 weeks) a girl can have a very swollen clitorus which can be mistaken for a penis. But the closer you get to 20 weeks, the more accurate u/s. HTH! |
