Where do you get your wool?

Where do you get your wool felt, wool roving, ect for a good price? I need to make a few crowns and such and all I have are small pieces of felt. But I can not break the bank doing so.

I get my roving from WC Mercantile http://wcmercantile.etsy.com, not sure how her prices compare, she has a brick & mortar shop close to where we are so I go there because it's convenient and she has great customer service. The colors she dyes in the shop are great but she sells dye too if you want to save a little money by doing it yourself.

I have a bale of unscoured jacob wool-- PM me if interested in samples.

I get very inexpensive wool for felting from 4H kids shearing the lambs for show-- they usually throw it away (!?!)

What I mean is already dyed wool for felting... And Felt squares.

If you are interested in partial wool felt, then Prairie Point Junction has great prices. While I really prefer to work with 100% wool, the blends are half the cost, so much more affordable and still way better to work with than acrylic felt.

I also like felt-o-rama. They have wool felt, blends and bamboo felt. Great color selection. And Weir Dolls has good prices too on 100% wool.

They dont have a website, but this company has GREAT prices!! West Earl Woolen Mill in Ephrata, PA. The number is 717-859-2241. My mother just called them actually and said they were very friendly. We plan on ordering some tomorrow! We will be getting 3lbs of natural wool for $28.40 (and that includes shipping!)

I second this recommendation. You can get tons of wool and dye it all different colors. It's very easy to dye wool.
