i'm kind of overwhelmed by the options when i google.

i'm talking about those things in kindergarten classrooms that have a big calendar with little pockets you can put the numbers and days and months in. like this: http://www.amazon.com/Nylon-Classroo...4323945&sr=8-8

any you particularly like or suggest? some seem to have some extra pictures for special days, like birthdays, etc. DD is 4.5 and starting to ask about calendar type stuff. i remember doing calendar time when i used to sub in kindy classrooms.

thanks!

I made my own and it was great. I just used a huge white poster board...drew a grid in black for the days with the days of the week written at the top, and then printed out numbers and pictures, along w/ the names of the months. I laminated all of them and cut them out. This way we were able to choose our own holiday and birthday pictures, as well as the pictures for the weather. It worked great and took very little time to do. You can use the sticky back velcro on each space and then they are easily interchangable per month.
