I know Christmas is popular for fiber arts, how about Halloween?
I'm part of a Halloween Sock kit swap on Ravelry. Just got paired of today and I'm excited!
Here are some things I want to Crochet:

http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/80745AD.html?r=1
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...candy-corn-bag

I don't have time to crochet any of them, but I want to.

I didn't check all your links, but irc, there is a candy corn hat pattern on rav too.
Not that owls are really halloween - fall maybe-, but I've been knitting the "Whoo?" pattern. It is sized infant - adult and adorable.

Thanks for this post! You've inspired me to try http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...ch-hat-pattern. Do I really need dpns or can I do this with the magic loop on circulars?

I'm making this for DS:

He'll be 8 months, and in the Ergo when we go out trick-or-treating with DD, so there's not much point in having a whole outfit - I'll just have him wear the hat and a snowsuit

Perdita- That is very cute. Also, when you say he will have to be in a snowsuit, that reminds me of Colorado Halloweens. It is often wet and very very cold.

I just finished 'owlet' for my little guy for fall. I also plan to knit him up a hat with puppy dog ears for halloween - he'll be a dalmation.
