I wasn't sure where to post this -- I don't think it's a breastfeeding issue because DS has always been a "nurse and then done". Also, it's not just happening at night, so I don't think it's a nighttime parenting problem.
But the gist is 14 month old, not quite walking yet, has ALL HIS TEETH (except 2nd year molars) has suddenly decided he wants to nurse all the time, waking and sleeping. He has started rejecting nearly all solids, and he's been a good solid eater his whole solid eating life. He doesn't seem to be in pain, and anyway, it's way too early for the second molars, right? He's easygoing and doesn't seem stressed about anything. He just won't stop asking to nurse and keeps latched on all night.
This constant nursing was the story of DD's first 2 years, but I'm just so shocked that this behavior has come seemingly out of nowhere in the last week with DS. Even when he was working on 3 or 4 teeth at the same time, he wasn't like this.
I'm happy to just ride it out but would still like to understand what's going on ...
Any ideas?
