Insanity & chilean extreme workout questions?

I'm doing Insanity so I can only comment on it (don't have the other one). There are no props (which is a plus imo) and workouts are 30 to 60 minutes depending on where you are in the program (the second month is when the workouts get longer). HTH

I have both. Insanity is just body weight/high intensity cardio. Chalean Extreme focuses on lifting heavy weight with (relatively) light (but still intense) cardio--a less intense version (IMO) of P90X. Insanity workouts and Chalean Extreme workouts are about the same length of time: anywhere from 40-60 minutes depending on the day/month you are on in the program.

Since you have both, which one would you recommend more? I really don't have the money for both right now, and they both look great to me.

I was doing p90x, but I just can not squeeze in 60+ for a work out

I really like the idea of no weights, I am doing the 30 day shred.
I have 2,5,10, and 15 lb weights right now...and a chinup bar (from p90x)

are these the same for chilean?

It depends on your goal. It seems to me that if you are looking to increase your cardio endurance, lose weight/burn calories and increase natural strength (i.e. working with bodyweight) Insanity is for you. If your focus is moreso to build more muscle and get stronger, go with Chalean Extreme. I stopped P90x (muscle building) because I couldn't commit to the time. I just finished CE and it was excellent. I'm going to do a CE/Insanity hybrid this winter.
