Going for a dental procedure - need some info!

Hi mamas
I'm going for a dental procedure next week that requires numbing. This means my dentist will be administering both epi and Novacaine - anywhere from one to three carps. Does anyone know where I can read up on the effects of these medications on breastmilk, how long I need to wait to nurse and how much pumping and dumping I need to do?

TIA
Kate.

should be totally fine to nurse right afterwards! http://www.kellymom.com/health/illness/dentalwork.html

Good luck!

I've had a couple of procedures done while nursing and my dentist and the endodontist have both used the local anesthetic without the epinephrine (because I told them I was breastfeeding). I did not pump and dump.
