Short Coupon Poll - Page 2

I use and find coupons for the following

pasta and pasta sauce
Glen Muir items (sometimes tomato products from other too)
organic dairy of all sorts
cereal
granola bars
produce (earthbound farms mostly)
canned fruit (we don't eat much, but all like canned pineapple)
tuna, sardines, anchovies
condiments--salad dressing, mayo, mustard, BBQ sauce, and Lea and Perrin's
soup
spices
baking items (baking powder, sugar, salt, arrowhead mills brand items)
toiliet paper and tissues (usually Marcel or 7th generation)
dishsoap (both for handwashing and the dishwasher)
laundry soap
razors
other random tolietries--we all have routines that use very little. I don't buy much if I buy something I nearly always have a coupon.
cold and alergy stuff (again us little, but general have very little out of pocket for these)
canning stuff--lids jars, pectin

velo reminded me of the canning items. I went a little nuts and used about 40 Ball/Kerr coupons for free (after doubled coupons) jar lids and pectin. I shouldn't have to buy any of those for awhile

Do you know of online bulk whole foods suppliers that ship to Canada by chance?

A lot of our food comes from a local farmers' market, is bought from the bulk foods section, or is store brand, so there aren't any coupons to use.

Due to skin allergies, I use a small number of specific brands for shampoo, conditioner, soap, detergent, etc. I haven't seen coupons for the things I use, so I just get whichever one's cheapest whenever I run out.

I use coupon codes when I shop online, and always do a quick search for coupon codes before I buy anything, but it's rare that I shop online these days.

Most of our non-food and non-toiletry items are secondhand. I used to use coupons at the thrift store, but you had to spend a certain amount and could only use them on certain things. Now I just go on their sale days, which have better deals than coupons anyway.

I don't, sorry. I can't imagine that some wouldn't thought. I usually buy from Walton Feed or Honeyville online and wait for discount codes to come through email. You can check those two out and see if they'll ship to you. Shipping can turn an economical purchase into a costly one, but you can at least inquire.

We try to eat mostly natural foods. There are always coupons for muir glen tomato products that I use. I often find coupons for natural snacks like pirates booty. This week my local store has pirates booty at 3/5 and I have a few $1 off coupons. The way I have learned to make coupons worth while is to save them until there is a good sale and usually there is and this makes the product cheaper than the nonbrand items. There are a lot of mama bloggers who put up sales and coupon matchups. I rely on these sites and sometimes save half my grocery bill with occasional free items.

I have a friend that LOVES to coupon. She gets many things free or for pennies but I am happy to say that we don't use ANY of the things that you coupon for. I look at all of the things that she buys and (she basically blogs on facebook) can't find a use for any of them. Generally the only coupons that I use are from Costco.
