Oh my goodness, good luck to our two (or more?) mamas who are in labor now! Can't wait to see the updates! It's totally freaking me out that are babies are starting to arrive!
Congrats, Mauri, on making it so far already with your twins! Hope things keep going great, and you don't have to do an induction.
Things are good here--36w4d, and I can't believe my EDD is less than 4 weeks away. Not ready yet. The to-do list is long and scary. But baby has been cooperating and staying head down for almost two weeks now (knock on wood), so that's good. And I just had a chiro appt for the Webster technique yesterday, and plan to go back again a couple more times before birth, probably. I don't feel any different, but she said I was slightly out of alignment, so hopefully this will help with birth position? I'm also planning now to take a 2 day trip out of town (5 hour drive) for work next week. I can't decide if that's crazy or not, and I don't want to ask my OB, because I know she'd say not to go. But my DD was a week late, so I really don't feel like I'll go 3 weeks early this time. I was planning to decline the internal at my OB appt this week, but I'm thinking now I'll get it, just in case she says something like, "OMG, you're already 5cm and this baby could fall out any minute." lol. I think I'd reconsider my travel plans in that case.
Oh, and is anyone else having trouble sleeping? Half the time, I'm super exhausted, but if I miss that tired period (which, inconveniently, usually starts right around dinner time), then I could be up until 1 or 2 am, not tired, and when I do fall asleep, it's very light. Every little thing wakes me up, or else I'm half-awake all night--I can't tell which. Between my bladder, and my toddler waking up in the night, and random noises outside, I am generally getting like 4-5 low quality hours of sleep a night.
