Cervix during early pregnancy.

I am 15 DPO today and I got a faint BFP on a FRER. I have had a couple chemcial pregnancies. I am concerned this will be one too. I checked my cervix. It is a little low, soft and slightly open. Is this normal, or is it likely I am going to lose this one too?

Um, I think low is good - high is during ovulation, soft I *think* is okay, and slightly open may be because you've already had a baby. They say that it can be slightly open all the time when you've had a baby.

I'm thinking you can't know for sure until you have an ultrasound or you start bleeding if it's not a sticky.

Don't know if that helps or not. Good luck!

I've also read that FRER doesn't give good positives! I always just use an Equate test from Wal-Mart and they have great feedback. Check out peeonastick.com!

FRER is perfectly fine for positives... they used to be crappy (but that was back when peeonastick was updated regularly, it isnt anymore) and in the past couple of years has been known to be the BEST out there.

That said, some women just produce hcg at a slower rate than others

From this pregnancy (due tomorrow!) here is my tests at 15 dpo http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5182.jpg
and a range of internet cheapies from 11dpo to 20dpo http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5292.jpg

but this pregnancy is, and always has been, a strong pregnancy!

HPTs do not tell you HOW pregnant you are... just whether or not you are.

As for your cervix, it can change throughout the day, even in early pregnancy. It could feel like that now, feel like AF is about to come in about 4 hours... and go to being so high you cant reach it anymore by tomorrow morning. Its not a good indicator of anything past your fertile time... so no worries there!

I understand your worry, but worrying what will happen will not change what will happen! It will just cause you stress which is not good!

THANK YOU MAERYN!! My BFP in person looks just like your FRER. I feel a bit better. I just want this so badly, I am trying to figure out a way to sheild myself from the disappointment if it doesnt work out.

Internet cheapies can be terrible. No wonder I keep getting bfn on them.
