I think this is probably the place place to put this... Our environment is a big part of our health, right?
So here is the deal... We just found an awesome, affordable house to rent. It fits all of our needs. It has spring water(no nasty city chlorine). It has a big fenced yard that is safe for my kids and pets. The view is PHENOMENAL. the land lady is super sweet. BUT... It is a few hundred feet from a great big communications tower, and just across the driveway there is a gigantic field of soybeans(not organic by any stretch, I'm sure).
I really want to rent it, but I worry about pesticide exposure and all the other chemicals that go with commercial GMO crops. I worry about crazy radiation from living under a tower. But I also worry about the implications of living where I am trapped buying water of questionable quality to escape drinking chlorine. And I know that antennas are EVERYWHERE... Can I really escape them and am I worrying about the comm. tower for nothing?
What would you do? Any thoughts and insight appreciated!

When we went to view the house the folks who are renting it now told us that they had found tons of geodes on the property, just walking around and picking them up. I wonder if the property doesn't have it's own protective field with all those natural crystals? I just don't know. It's a hard choice to make. I am certainly leaning towards telling her that I've changed my mind while I know that she has another lady looking at it so that I'm not leaving her hanging. It's just so cheap and so lovely and so fulfills all the things I was looking for... If I had known starting out that the place was spitting distance from two such horrifying things I'd never have gotten excited about it. Somebody break out a violin and play me a sad song.
