Kind of funny, kind of gross

I am not a person who needs deodorant, but....
when Im nursing I have body odor that is unbelievable.
It happens every time I have a baby and doesnt go away until they are weened. I actually have to wear deodorant sometimes.
I read somewhere that this is a natural thing that happens to deter the male.
I guess my DH doesnt have any instincts because he doesnt care.
Yuck! Anyone else? I cant stand the smell of myself. It's either sour milk or I smell like a work guy!

Haha! That's interesting.. the deter the man part. I have heard of this. I'm guessing it's hormonal. I'm sure baby doesn't mind as long as they are getting that mama's milk

I stink more when I am nursing too.

Yup, I stink like nothing else. My husband has totally not gotten the memo that he should be deterred. Thus he is off at a consultation for a V.

All I noticed is I just smell really strongly of milk! Even if I just got a shower and am wearing clean clothes, lol. It sounds weird but I kind of wonder if other people notice.

This may be one of the funniest things I've heard in a while.

Now that I think of it, I think I may smell stronger than usual too. And I also think my husband missed that memo

Mom2M, I always feel like I smell like milk too... Sometimes I'll ask my DH or my mom to sniff me before I go out because I think I just get used to it!

Lol - I thought it was just because it's impossible for me to shower regularly... But maybe there's more to it!
