I have been on high doses of prednisone since May and am so depressed now. I have battled a depression disorder most of my life and take vitamine supplements as well as anti-depressents but found positive thinking, cognitive behavioral therapy and meditation made a huge difference. Lately nothing helps, I have mood swings and don't want to be around anyone, not even my children and am very irritable and have started to snap at my DD all the time. I really hate this and just want to dissappear till it goes away but I'm not sure it will as the dosage gets lower the ulcerative colitis has come back all summer. I'm waiting to see a GI as the one I had moved away but till tehn can barely function...
