10 or 15 Minute Sessions of Cleaning--Please join in! - Page 55

Welcome Motivated Mama!

Ive been up since 3 when I woke up (for the 1000 time to use the bathroom) and Im so tired! This morning I plan on feeding the girls breakfast and then laying down for a nap. They woke up around 430 so they will be willing to take an early nap without a fight (hopefully).

Before I lay down I want to:

change over the laundry, do breakfast dishes, cook up the sausage in the fridge, put together jambalya for dinner and throw it into the crockpot, clean up from making dinner, and wipe down the sinks.

After my nap it depends how much energy I have. Cleaning wise I need to:

clean bathrooms

clean bedrooms (girls and master)

clean playroom

sweep hallway

Ill go from there on what else I can get done. Im hoping to get some clothing sewn up today, otherwise Im going to end up running out of things that I can wear outside of the house.

Hi all!

A  little late in mentioning it over here, but I've been scarce because LO joined us on the 23rd of December...so I haven't done much housekeeping at all recently!  I've had help for at least part of the day almost every day - with two, and my toddler being Very Active, it's a whole different ballgame than the first time around. :)

I did do a little today, other than nursing and cuddling w/ my boys (and making sure I got enough to eat and drink!): did some dishes, folded some laundry, and got the washed diapers into the dryer.  Boy - I'm sure glad of the extra meals in the freezer now!  My mom gets here (Toronto) from IL tomorrow, and I'll be glad of the company and of the extra hands!

Gotta run - littlest boy needs a change :)

Congrats Sara! I think having a baby earns you at least a month off of house cleaning (don't we all wish that one!).. Hopefully your mother can help you out some so you can concentrate on your littlest (and not so littles). My oldest is an active little muchkin too (so is her sister) so I can relate to it being totally different with two, just make sure while you take care of them you are also taking care of yourself. You can't take care of others if you are neglecting yourself and end up sick (found that one out the hard way!)

I ended up falling asleep before getting any of the clean up done so I still need to do what I said I needed to do before.. But I had a nice nap :)

My kids are all of these: nut.gifenergy.gifhammer.gifblahblah.gif and more!
Despite that, I did manage to clean up the kitchen after breakfast, lunch, and dinner, pick up laundry and toys that were strewn everywhere, vacuum the area rug and sweep the family room, and make even more of a mess in the kids playroom biglaugh.gif

Got the laundry and breakfast dishes done. Printed out some file folder games to put together.. I really don't like my printer, it uses ink like its the best thing in the world.

Now off to put dinner in the crockpot and do the cleaning stuff. Then Im going to cut out the skirt and tops Im trying to make and put everything in one location so I can work on it.

Thnaks, OkiMom & bejeweled! :)

On my own today, until DH gets home from the airport (w/ Mom!) around 6:30-7:00.  Bigger boy is down for a nap...and littlest is still asleep for the moment, too!

Got breakfast into everyone...and lunch.  Lunch prep was interrupted, however...we have forced-water heating (radiators) and DS1 managed to wiggle into a corner and proceed to unscrew the valve (COMPLETELY) on one of the rads!  Grrr...huge water mess, plugged the valve w/ TP while I pulled the furniture, yarn, etc. out of the corner ('my' corner - hence the yarn and needlework stuff)...got the water cleaned up and the chair is back where it belongs - hope to tidy up the rest of the living room before supper, as well as basic tidy of the kitchen and tackle a (very) few disehs left in the sink before supper...but we'll see.  Just finished 20 oz. of water; right now, I think I'm going to lay down for a few before one of the boys needs me next!

Hi, I'm new to the forum.  I noticed several postings regarding donating bras, etc.  I just recently found a site that accepts donations of bras.  The local donation centers here just throws them away. A friend told me about a web site www.donateyourbra.com and I just boxed them up and mailed them in.
