10 or 15 Minute Sessions of Cleaning--Please join in! - Page 57

Girls didn't sleep well last night but on the bright side I got 2 loads of laundry done and a third almost done. I'm going to go check on the laundry and start on my to-dos for the day. Its only 4 but I know myself well enough to know Im not going to be able to sleep, my mind has a thing against sleeping past 4 if I'm up at 4 I cant go back to sleep. If Im lucky I can get a bit of time without the kids to do most of the cleaning stuff. Only thing I can't make is the bread since its freezing in my apartment (housing decided its to much to turn on the heaters this year so its been dipping into the low 40s inside burr) and bread won't rise at this temperature. Hopefully it warms up so I can make it midday.

oki Im the same way it almost killed me working swing shift

landery in I spent DSs nap sitting around eating so not super productive cleaning wise

managed  to get the last box in the bathroom unpacked...only to find it was mostly garbage! Guess that's what happens when a 7 year old helps me pack lol

Got most of the cleaning stuff done for the kitchen. I'm going to go do the baking/freezing before I do the 1/2 of floor I was going to do today. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the kitchen wasn't as disorganized and cluttered as I feared it was. Nice to not have to spend 4-5 hours of 1/2 of it like I had to last year! Off to freeze: 1 thing lasagna, mex beef and bean, 2 loaves bread and to make 1 thing lasagna (for dinner) and jambalaya (lunch then I'm freezing the rest).

Gracie- I wouldn't make it working swing shift,Id probably never sleep. I ended up putting aluminum foil in the bedroom windows so I could take a nap during the day while the girls sleep (black out curtains are more than we can afford) because it was the only way to trick my body into sleeping. Night shift kills me to, drove me nuts when I had to work nights and try to sleep days zzzzz.

yes I'm glad that chapter in my life is over , normal hours from here on out ! well at least work wise

laundry on the made to be put away dishes being washed hand washing done found a few more things towards my 2011 in 2011 currently siting in the living room with DS sleeping on my lap getting some stuff done on-line

Another load of laundry done, made the jambalaya and the Mexican bean and beef casserole as well as browned up the meat for lasagna. Now I'm going to go throw the lasagna together and start making the french bread. By the time that's done it should give me enough time to scrub the floor before lunch.

Clutter- Im thinking with the weekend you have had you need to stay off your feet before something else breaks!

I got most of my to-dos done today. It was hard (I totally lack motivation) but Im glad I got some of it done. My kitchen is actually starting to look half way clean and Im knocking off stuff from my to-do list. Now if only the carseat would get here I would feel 100 times better. I know tomorrow is going to be harder though because Ill be tired from today and still need to get things done. Oh well, I got more than half the kitchen done today so tomorrow there should be less to do. Laundry is all done but 1 last load that I need to wait for DH to get home to do, bread is rising. I just did regular bread since we were out, tomorrow if I have the energy Ill do the french bread. I scrounged a loaf I had previously frozen for tonights dinner so I need to make an extra loaf to freeze. DH and the girls LOVE french bread.

Now Im going to go help the girls with the evening clean up, finish making dinner, wipe down the kitchen sinks, finish making the bed, do my to do list for tomorrow, cut out the projects Ive been procrastinating on and empty the dishwasher. By then DH should be home joy.gif and it will be time for dinner, clean up, baths, teeth and Daddy time for the girls (me time for me.. hot bath is calling my name!)

I moved yesterdays wash to the drier and that may be all I do today if my day goes according to plan I'm leaving to go to our baby group followed by lunch and my moms group then happy hour sushi ( real sushi great prices DS loves it ) and then home for bed . but it is snowing and we Seattle people are chicken so anything could happen

making breakfast right now. After we eat and clean up its time for me to take a shower then start on my to dos for the day. I might put the kids down for a nap EARLY today since they didn't get much sleep last night and it shows. I don't really want to deal with a screaming toddler while im trying to get some stuff done.

I managed to get a couple sessions in today, but not as much as I hoped for. I am exhausted! I cleaned the fryer and 2 drawers in the kitchen. I did a load of laundry and a load of dishes. I made dinner.

So I decided to check my DDC before starting to do my to-dos.. 3 ladies have had their babies.. Im not sure Im ready for this kid to come, Im still in denial Im due so soon! I guess I really need to get moving.

Off to take a bath (was going to do a shower but a bath sounded better) and then work on the kitchen. I already washed down the washing machine, just need to do the dryer and then the rest of it.

eta- done with the bath, even shaved, then gave the girls a bath. Wiped down the inside and outside of the washer/dryer (YUCK!). Now off to work on the cabinets and drawers.

eta2- I finished everything but the floor in the kitchen. My head is pounding though SO Im putting off the cooking until tomorrow. Something about a pounding head and a hot stove doesn't sound like a good combo to me.

eta3- DD1 wanted to help me with something so we ended up laminating some of the file folders and then cutting out and putting 3 of them together. I have another 2 to laminate then 7 to cut out and put together.
