I work from home most of the time, using my personal computer to remotely access my computer desktop (through the main office server) at the office. Periodically, they need to remotely access my computer to assist me with IT issues. It's weird cause I can watch what they're doing on their end on my computer screen, as if a ghost were controlling the mouse.
Anyways, for anyone who might know....if they can access my home computer remotely, even through their own server, does that allow them to see all the personal information that I have stored on my computer (pictures, financial info., passwords to accounts, etc.)
I'm worried that because they have the capability to access my work information, it also extends to my personal information.
Is there anything I can do to protect myself?
TIA!
