1 month old - cold sore???

My 1 month old just got a little thing on his lower lip...right on the edge. I can't tell what it is; he's got acne, and stuff...but the location to me sure looks a lot like a cold sore. I know it's dangerous in newborns...is he still a newborn?
I'm going to call his doc...but anyone BTDT????

went to the ped...it's fine. He didn't think it was Herpes, but just some baby acne type thing. Whew!

I was going to suggest "nursing blister." Glad everything is OK.
