Looking for best Jane Eyre adaption

I'm re-reading Jane Eyre and realized I've never seen any of the many versions of it. So... what's your favorite?

The one with Charlotte Gainsbourg is pretty good. But to be honest, I don't think any of them do justice to the book. And William Hurt as Rochester doesn't work so well.

I agree; I don't buy William Hurt as Rochester.

I am on team Timothy Dalton

I love the version done in 2006 with Ruth Wilson and Toby Stephens!

I can't remember how many times I've read the book, yet I've never seen a single film adaptation either. I'll have to check one out.

This is the one I love! Toby is Maggie Smith's son and he's amazing!

I'm getting excited to check these out and decide for myself. I bet my library has a lot of them and I should be done tomorrow at the latest with the book.
