I think this might be a lot more drama laden than Top Chef.

Has it started yet!?! I am so looking forward to this show. I love Top Chef. I love desserts. I love to bake.
I can't wait to watch . . . then I'll come back here to chat about it.

Dangerous show to have on at that time of night.
DH and I both scavenging around the kitchen for chocolate last night.

I finally got to watch the first episode. Yes, I agree, there is a lot of drama!! And the preview fr the rest of the season looked like there is A LOT more drama coming.

I liked the episode & pretty much agreed with all the winner/loser decisions. But, I thought the dessert that fell apart on the plate should have been sent home. That girl annoyed me - especially when she tried someone else's dessert & then said she needed to go throw up. Rude! I don't think she'll be around much longer.

So glad Seth had to leave! That was just way too much drama for a cooking contest!! His comments were very annoying & distracting from the spirit of the show.

I don't think Heather (the one they brought back) will last much longer either - she seems out of her element & easily frazzled.

So, there are 8 now - I wonder if they'll get their own version of Restaurant Wars? Pastry Wars?

I've been watching the whole season and totally agree about Seth needing to leave!! His drama was SO over the top & annoying. I literally had to fast forward during some of his segments, I couldn't take it.

I find the whole thing really fun & interesting, I just wish they would buck up and stop whining and crying so much.

I felt bad for Seth at first regarding his sick mom but he just became so mean spirited and nasty.

Pastry Wars would be great. DH is even into the show too.

OK, now Morgan is annoying me . . . Danielle, too.
I was kinda surprised to see Erika go - I thought it would be Danielle for sure.

The preview after the last episode said Pastry Wars was coming - yay!!

Glad someone resurrected this- I'm still watching! Can't believe Erica is out!! She was my favorite! After Danielle has been in the bottom so many times and Erica has been on top most of the show! One mistake and she's gone while Danielle stays! I don't get it. I wonder how her ice cream got soapy-tasting, if she makes it all the time. What a shame. I reeeeeeeeally wish I could eat the desserts! This show makes me so hungry!

I wanted Erica to stay as well. I like her calm demeanor.

I agree, Erica was one of my favorites. I wonder if the machine wasn't cleaned well and some ice cream tasted ok (hopefully Erica tried it!) and some wasn't. I really think Danielle should have gone - her dessert looked amaeturish (I could have made what she made!) and she has done so poorly all along. Morgan definitely rubs me the wrong way as well. I wouldn't be sad to see him go.
