About $700, but some of that was gifts. We've got 12 small Motherease Sandys, the Bummis organic prefold kits in both sizes, and a bunch of assorted covers (1 wool, a few Thirsties, etc.) I think the majority of it will last for at least one more baby, but I foresee more overspending on covers, especially since I discovered wool....

Right around 1000. We tried a couple systems that just didn't work. I finally settled on just prefolds and flats, so much easier. But I use sposies at night because staydry lining causes rashes but my son wakes if he feels even a little wet.

Until last week only about $90 for some newborn covers and 30 infant size prefolds and two diaper bag wet bags and two pail liners. I got a bunch of "medium" gDiaper covers from a friend that I used with pfs, so up to now I haven't had to buy anything else. However, DS (only 10 weeks) has already outgrown the gDiaper covers.

We just finished the trial pack from jillians drawers, and decided to go with BumGenius in both AIO and some OS. I bought all used and spent about $170 and then I went and bought 2 Thirsties duo covers (so we can still use our pfs) for another $25...

So I guess about $300... but I can see us spending a lot more. I've had it with disposable diapers... they just don't fit my boy and they leak.

hmm... never really added it up...it's true prices are higher in canada though.

$30 on inserts and doublers, snappis and my handmade wool covers
$160 on new prefolds and covers from nb to 6mos
$100 on second-hand prefolds and covers from nb to 6mos

so approx $300 so far and another $200 for new prefolds and covers to fit 18+lbs in about 2 months probably, unless i find some good second-hand deals.
