UC water birth

Hello

It is me again.

i am having a little hard time deciding between water birth to "dry" (out of the water) birth ,since i am planning to be doing it on my own i had some question raising regarding the timing in which you should enter the pool/bath in order to accomplish the delivery in there (i'm saying that because in my first birth i was moving in and out of the pool and the baby's head was already out when i entered the pool again and so couldn't give birth in the water.)
i would kindly like to hear opinions and advices from professional water birthing uc's mothers
thank you

i labored on a birth ball once the contractions started getting intense. before that i was keeping busy by cleaning etc. i got in the tub when i felt i was ready, probably an hour before she was born.

I was in and out of the pool throughout my labor (once it felt serious), but once I started seriously having the urge to push I got in pool and didn't come out until she was born. Pushing "on land" felt awful, you would have had to drag me from that pool with a team of horses to get me to leave.

I think ultimately, you have to go with your gut as to when you get in.

Hey

i do hope this time it will be IN the water ,i do completely agree that it felt far better in the pool then outside of it.
i do thank you both for the information
