No Pooers: What does your hair smell like?

I'm curious at what everyones hair smells like. I've been no-pooing for 2 weeks now. My hair itself smells like nothing but I feel like my scalp has a smell. It's not the typical "I have dirty hair smell" though. It's not repulsive... but there. My scalp has been greasy but I think I'm transitioning because my hair is getting nicer by the day.

Anyways, I'm just wondering what is typical. I don't want to have this "smell" forever so I hope it's just the transition phase. Like I said, it's not repulsive but I definitely get nervous when DBF kisses my head haha

I have been no poo for a year and I notice sometimes when I go a about a week between washes that my scalp gets smelly.  Its not unbearable, but not totally pleasant.  When it gets to that point, I wash or rinse.  I have a lot of issues with flakes, so between flakes and smell, I know when I need to wash.

I use lavender essential oil a few drops in my ACV rinse to leave my hair smelling nice after a wash.  Sometimes I spray rosewater on as well.  DH doesn't like the vinegar smell on my head!
