teeth coming through, bleeding under the skin?

The top two teeth are just starting to come through, I can see a bit of gleaming white on one. I keep peeking at them, and the other one, the one that isn't quite through yet, it's all blue under the skin, like a blood blister.

I never heard of this before, has this ever happened to anyone else? Is blood going to pour out of his mouth?!!

DD had a bit of blood on the gum (a very small amount) when one of her bottom teeth came through. It didn't bleed really, just looked like it. I didn't notice any blue though...

I was wondering just this same thing yesterday! DS is getting his two upper teeth and the right one was bluish purple and looked horrible! Today it looks a little better but still darker. I can see where the tooth is and someone in my DDC said that sometimes just happens with teething. Didn't think about if blood would come out once tooth broke through? I doubt it would be a lot though, guess we will see

Yeah, just made me go eek. He may even have bumped it. He's pulling up on everything and cruising and slipping and banging his face constantly.

sounds like our babes are right at the same place! I couldn't figure out if he hit it while playing or not? Seems like he would fuss about it but no crying here. Sleep is completely screwed up though. yawn.

My DS's top two teeth came in almost looking black. Freaked me out! He was fine and they are beautiful and white. He did have a harder time with those teeth than any others.
