I'm a desperate crafter. DS will not let me sew, so I'm back to knitting (which I haven't done in quite a while) I'm basically a beginner again.

What are your favorite easy/ beginner free patterns? How hard is it to use double pointed needles?

So far I've made bunny blanket buddy and I'm working on a gnome.

I found dpn's a little fiddly at first, but, as with anything else, use 'em enough and it becomes easier. You might like knittinghelp.com. It has videos!
