ewcm day 9, then none, ovulation day 14? How can that happen?

I wonder if anyone can troubleshoot this cycle for me.

I got alot of good ewcm on day 9. Then scant to nothing. I O'd day 14(temp shift, pos opk, strong feelings in ovaries)


Things to consider-2 cycles ago i took soy, which suppressed my usual ewcm. It happened again the subsequent cycle, and this cycle too. I took epo to help, but only got the ewcm on day 9. I usually get good ewcm. I am nursing, and over 40. I think if this were a symptom of fertility decline, it would happen gradually, and not suddenly. So i still think the soy is part of the reason, tho not sure how. But why ewcm on day 9 only?...im surprised i even ovulated....sigh

I don't have a good answer for you, but these things are pretty common. Some months I have lots of healthy ewcm and other months not so much. The month I got pregnant with my dd I hardly had any. It's not a requirement for conception. Good luck!

Have you been dehydrated?

Remember, its not what you can see that matters but what is up inside of you (in your cervix and uterus) that matters. You could still have had EWCM all those days between 9 and 14... just not any you saw.
