SURVIVOR: Nicaragua

Who saw the premiere? I don't know how I can still be addicted to this show after 21 seasons, but I am!! I thought it as pretty good. I'm sorry about who went home- I would have been friends with her and would like to hear more about her goat ranching!

I'm annoyed at so much emphasis on the football coach- I want to see regular people, not rich celebrities. I can watch other shows for that. Plus I can't STAND football.

Hmmm, The Necklace of Power, or whatever it's called. I guess they're trying to introduce a new element. We'll see how that goes. I think they younger tribe was a bit foolish to not use it- we all know both tribes eventually get fire and water anyway.

I watched it but I was sort of bored by it. After two seasons of Russell, it is hard for others to compete!

what kind of accent did the goat rancher have? wild...
and the necklace thing is a bit much i think.
i think the football coach brings in an interesting dynamic - i'm curious how he came about to being on the show... did he apply or did they seek him out i wonder.

I like Survivor, but I'm starting to feel kind of meh about it. I was sad that the girl with the prosthesis's team is already trying to get rid of her before even seeing what she can do.

I kept thinking, "If she heard you talking like that about her she'd be SO offended!" I mean, "if it comes down to me or her I'd say 'just give her the money' because...well..." is offensive, yes?

I totally agree but that won't stop me from watching!

I'm still a huge Survivor fan!

Agree about the goat rancher... She made that comment about her husband saying she'd be the first to go... I felt so bad for her, I wanted her to be able to prove him wrong!

I like football coach being on there! I don't follow football at all and I had to ask DH who's this?? lol but I like him, and I think it will be interesting, he's not going to get any special attention out here!

The line "if it comes down to me or her I'd say just give her the money" is offensive! Hopefully she'll be able to stick around for a little while and show her tribe what's she's all about!

I love survivor! I wish I could follow with all of ya, but my internet is so slow that it wont allow video watching. Anyone know if there is a place to download it so I can watch it off line?

I know, and it's sad to think she's seeing it now that's it's airing and hearing what her teammates are saying about her in private. (well, if by "private" I mean on national tv but not originally in front of the group! )

I'm so watching and I'm so Nothing can come between me and Survivor. Weird to be watching on Wednesdays though...

Oh yea, I'm totally not feelin' that dude Shannon. He is WACK. Mark my words.

It's always the quirky ones that are the first ones to get voted off - I would have liked to see the goat-rancher play more.

I was sooo annoyed at the comments about the doctor with the prosthetic leg. "I feel so bad for her", etc Gimme a break she doesn't need anybody's flippin pity! She has had this since infanthood- has never known anything different and has managed to do quite alot with her life. And as if no one is capable of looking past her leg so therefore would give her the money out of sympathy!! Gee, maybe her fellow tribemates just might see her as <gasp> a PERSON first, not a disability. I hope she sticks around so people who are uncomfortable with disabilites might actually learn something.

Tribal council last night was hilarious! I loved it! Glad they got rid of who they did, he seemed like an a$$. Asking Sash if he's gay was the nail in his coffin.

I think they were smart to keep Nay, even though she's annoying people with her attitude. She isn't a threat and will be easy to pick off later. I like Brenda and I'm glad she's still here.

I was so glad to see the girl with the prosthetic (what is her name??) do so well in the challenge! That was awesome!

Holly in th older tribe is crazzzy! She'll be entertaining to watch, lol.

Thank goodness for the DVR. We rewound and watched that Tribal Council over and over. It was so out of control!!!

I don't know who is the most ignorant player. They have so many this season. So so that a$$hole was voted off last night. Makes Louisiana look bad.

I just have to say WOW to that tribal council.
Does anyone else really want to see NaOnka go home? She really annoys me.

I am enjoying the younger tribe "crumbling". I really like Kelly B. and think she is doing great in her own right, having nothing to do with her leg.

I am going to be 34 so I'm rooting for the "old team"!

I was suprised Mario didn't punch Holly in the mouth. OTOH, why in the heck did he take $1800 shoes to Survivor?

I was wondering the SAME THING. Why on earth would you bring expensive items? Don't you watch the show?

I was thinking the same thing. But the shoes are probably his "lucky charm". I think he's a real estate guy.

She is ignorant, but they'll probably keep her around to the end just because she'll never win. I feel so sorry for Fabio. He gets all her wrath.
